UI library for wearables? No problem – joining our Google Glass library is now Android Wear. Take a look inside.
There are currently 2 Android watches available on the wearables market: Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch, with a third one, Motorola Moto 360, coming later this summer. Take a good look at those watches (or should I say wearables) – your next design assignment, even your next job, can be all about designing for Android Wear. That’s when our Android Wear UI library will come in handy.
We’ve added 20, fully editable elements, derived from the UI standards introduced by the first Android Wear gear, compliant with Android developer guidelines. Here’s a preview of the UI elements:
Cusomise them however you find it appropriate for your project stage – edit the content, change typography, add color, gradients or even interactions and animations; go from lo-fi to hi-fi. A good idea might be to mix this library with other libraries available in UXPin. To provide the best user experience in your Android Wear app, make sure you know all about the UI Patterns, outlined by Android developers and designers in this article – that’s a great place to start.
Happy designing with Android Wear UI!
